Banksy comes to London

We still have no idea who Banksy is, and all we know is that this Bristol-born graffiti artist seems to pop up all over the world with his iconic art. Now a global phenomenon, a gallery in Dalston has decided that it's about time he had a permanent collection so art-lovers can visit some of his more traditional works (at least more traditional than graffitied walls in Bethlehem).

Dalston's Hang-Up gallery has revealed 'Banksy's Bunker'; a full gallery space dedicated to Banksy's art for the public to view. Up until this point, Banksy exhibitions have been few and far between, and only ever temporary, including an extensive feature in the Bristol Museum as well as the famous Dismaland; a depressing theme-park in the South-West. Rumour also has it Banksy managed to surround himself by his close friends in order to set these up in order to avoid being seen by the general public. However, given the temporary nature of these exhibits/installations, people were put off by the snaking queues and so, for most, Banksy's art has remained practically inaccessible.

Not anymore, get yourself to Dalston to get a taste of the elusive artist, and hurry, all of the works are up for sale, so the exhibition will be an ever-changing collection. You might even bag one of your own.
