Kanye for President?

Kanye has just gone political on us.

During a show in San Jose, Kanye went on the biggest political rant we’ve heard from him in years, praising Trump and his fan base in the process. Controversially, he revealed he was glad that Trump inspired racists to reveal themselves and said that although he didn’t vote in 2016, he would have liked to vote for the president-elect. He later went on to call Trump a “genius”. His political ranting took up an hour of his show as he continued to stop between songs and vent more political opinions to his Californian crowd.  

Fair enough, Kanye can think whatever he likes of Trump, but the most entertaining moment came afterwards.

Kanye then revealed he is genuinely planning to run for president in 2020 claiming by then he will have the necessary experience to be a good American president. This isn’t the first time Kanye has mentioned his aim to run for office, but we haven’t seen him get this political in years, and he seems deadly serious this time.

So, Kanye for president? I hope not. There is literally nothing that this man thinks he can’t do.
