These Bikes are Lit

In an incredible piece of cinematographic content, Mike Gamble Media have produced short film Light Cycles.

What could be better than attaching hundreds of LED bulbs to the back wheel of two mountain bikes, before giving control to two professional cyclists on a downhill track at dusk? Not much.

The filming is incredible; using long-exposure shots to create dazzling light trails behind the bikes as they weave and jump their way down the mountainous woodland terrain. What this creates is a mythical, futuristic effect and an eerie atmosphere in what is a stunning clip. The riders are transformed into sensationally striking high-definition Sonic the Hedgehogs with their multi-coloured light shows zigzagging behind them.
