We’ve seen various creative approaches to combatting Donald Trump’s opinions in recent months, especially as America grew closer to the famous election result in November. One of the most controversial aspects of the now-President-Elect’s persona is his misogyny and lack of respect for women, what’s more, there are countless direct Trump quotes that underline these beliefs.

A young, American student named Aria Watson has produced a photography project to try and combat this misogyny, publicise its wrong-doing and inadvertently change Trump’s views on the role of women in society in this day and age so that they don’t filter through during his presidency; a concern of many. The quite shocking and gripping visuals print some of the most infamous quotes in bold lettering on nude women’s bodies. The quote is printed in a different area of the woman’s body in each photo depending on the quote itself; the “grab ‘em by the pussy” quote is unsurprisingly centred around the woman’s midriff for example.

What this young student achieves with this project is a sort of mutilated innocence in each photo; the beautiful, nude body is tarnished by these black, red, ugly letters that spell out an aggressive, outdated opinion on women. It is very powerful and very effective, check out some examples below.
