Stranger Things on Cello

A fun theme-tune cover for you today.

The iconic introduction song to the binge-worthy new TV show Stranger Things has been a hit ever since the first episode dropped a couple of months ago and multiple artists and cut, edited, tweaked and tried to cover it. Even The Weeknd’s song Starboy has been laid over the top of the retro track (and it’s really good, listen here).

Now, a new type of cover. Three cellists have given it a go in their own unique manner. The result? Fantastic. The depth of sound that comes from a cello works perfectly for the ambient, moody melody and it’s an excellent listen. Check it out here.
