Norwegian Christmas Advertising

After what was probably a celebration-stupor of a weekend, some nice advertising to cheer up your final Monday before Christmas to help rekindle the festive spirit.

Norwegian electronics. Not exactly what would spring to mind when I asked you what company was behind the heart-wrenching, tear-jerking adverts that have just been produced. However, they’ve done an absolutely ingenious job. Elkjøp (I’m afraid I’m very unsure of the pronunciation of this) have created three short, simple adverts looking at the family dynamic at Christmas and certain awkward situations that can occur.

Without giving too much away, these ads are touching and emotional without swaying towards the cringe end of the spectrum; a very difficult thing to achieve. And, to be quite honest, they embody and capture the true spirit of Christmas perfectly, they are fantastic.
