Skating to Kanye

Calling all skateboarding fans. In fact, calling anyone who loves great cinematography and occasionally enjoys watching some insane skating.

Pro-skater Chaz Ortiz has just released a new skate film in collaboration with his sponsor; Zoo York. The talent on show in this video is actually quite ridiculous. The 22-year-old leaves nothing to the imagination, he is supremely skilled with a board beneath his feet. The tricks, the flow, the whole package is incredible. Death-defying jumps, grinds, flips whilst making it all look so utterly simple is what makes this clip so good to watch. The fluidity with which Ortiz skates is a joy to watch.

The whole clip is amazing but if you’re looking for just a flavour start at 1:59, the variety of interesting cinematography from this point makes epic viewing and Kanye’s Runaway kicks on the pace with an emotional energy that matches the skating skills on show.
