Weird and wonderful advertising is often hit-and-miss, you never really know whether people will love it, hate it, or just be on a totally different wavelength and not get it.

MailChimp (the online newsletter provider) have released a new short film online entitled KaleLimp, which is as weird as weird can be yet utter genius and beautiful to watch.

Ever wondered where kale came from? Well, you’ll soon find out.

The animation is stunning and the Kale-dog is adorable; the way in which its kale-coat moves is stunning and it’s a joy to watch. An underlying mockery of all those kale-obsessed-wannabe-trendy types (we’ve all done it) is also palpable and makes the spot funny, sweet and hilariously bizarre.
