Happy Christmas. Happy New Year etc. etc.

There is little worse than the office chat the day everyone returns to work after the Christmas break. Answering the same question two hundred times you end up utterly hating yourself as you find yourself asking yet another colleague how their Christmas was. “Good thanks but it just went so fast”, they reply, predictably, just like the previous 13 colleagues.

So, how to avoid this you ask? Easy. The XX have just released a new single, so plug your earphones in and be thoroughly antisocial for the day (and maybe the week depending on how much your office love reminiscing on their Christmas).

It’s a great song, filled with quintessentially XX emotion and will whet your appetite for the release of their new album next Friday 13^th, which is hauntingly apt.
