Alt-J Return

Good news for all Alt-J fans out there: the band have just confirmed their new album Relaxer will be released on June 9^th. This represents the follow-up to the critically-acclaimed This Is All Yours that came out back in 2014.

Even better, they have combined the announcement with the release of a new song entitled 3WW, which you can listen to on Spotify now. The new release mixes quintessential Alt-J sounds and harmonies with a very relaxed feel. It’s a slow-starter but well worth sticking it out as, in true Alt-J fashion, the song builds to an excellent crescendo as it develops, finally returning to the sleepy melody with which it starts.

It’s a great return for the band, an interesting and layered song that actually gets better the more you play it. Get on it and have a dabble at work here.
