Mulvey Announces New Music
Following the critical success of his 2014 album First Mind, Nick Mulvey has been
relatively quiet for the last couple of years, playing great shows across the
world, but releasing no new music. However, much to fans’ excitement, he has
revealed that a new single entitled Unconditional
will drop tonight.
Little has been revealed so far, apart from some discussion
on the work he did alongside Leif Podjhasky on the album cover (see below), through which we
can gather a very vague idea to the vibe of the music that will grace our ears
this evening. Mulvey outlines that the artwork reflects the two main themes of
the record: warmth and sacred geometry. Sacred geometry leaves us baffled, but
he explains that warmth is all about the importance of friends and family. Despite
its ambiguity, at least this can hopefully confirm Mulvey won’t be taking a
U-turn into death metal and the new song will echo the relaxing ambience of his
previous material.
We’re sure there are plenty of fans across the world eagerly
awaiting the release, so keep your eyes glued to Mulvey’s Twitter and Instagram
pages, for he is sure to announce the exciting new tune on there. Not that we
have any qualms at all, but fingers crossed it’s a good’un.
